Paul Kinney

Paul Kinney is the writer/producer of Unforgettable Films, a division of Paul Kinney Productions. Paul has been producing special event videos for friends, clients and family for many years. He has written and produced event videos for multiple weddings, birthdays and political events for Governor Jerry Brown, Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom and others. After repeated requests, Paul decided to professionalize this successful venture through Unforgettable Films.

Paul Kinney Productions had already been an innovative political consulting and media production company located in Sacramento since 1981.

Paul Kinney Productions proudly lists a diverse group of clients and projects. The company has been responsible for the management of numerous political campaigns over the years for every level of elective office from the School Board up to the White House. A dozen members of Congress, over 75 State Legislators, hundreds of ballot measures and numerous companies, and associations have counted on Paul Kinney Productions for creative assistance.

Most recently, Paul Kinney Productions was the media consultant that helped elect California Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom and Assemblyman Roger Dickinson in 2010 and as Co-Chair of Coalition for a Safer California, an independent expenditure committee which helped Lou Correa win the closest Senate race in California.

Paul Kinney Productions has produced electronic media for a wide range of clients for the San Francisco Giants and 49ers, to Mills-Peninsula Health Services to major development companies and technology corporations. And much of the companies work has been for organized labor groups and most recently, the San Francisco Police Officers Association.

In the process, Paul Kinney Productions has won many awards. Among them are nine Pollies, three Addys and twenty-three Telly Awards for creativity, plus many other film festival awards. The Firm’s television commercials have often been featured on national TV, Including the Today Show and Hardball on NBC-TV.


Taryn Kinney

 Taryn Kinney is Marketing Director of Unforgettable Films. Taryn has helped her father, Paul Kinney, on many of his previous special event videos before he launched Unforgettable Films. Taryn does all marketing, web site development, media communications and social media for Unforgettable Films.

Taryn Kinney is currently a Press Deputy and Legislative Aide in the California State Capitol for a State Senator where she manages his communications strategy, outreach and media. Prior to that, Taryn worked in public relations in Sacramento and Los Angeles. Taryn graduated in 2005 from the University of California, Berkeley.
